Infographic – Maximise Your Impact on Twitter

Love this Infographic from We Are Social on the best times to tweet for increased engagement. Which highlights Sat/Sun as the best days to tweet and 7/8am as the best times to tweet. Surely though 7am on a Sunday would be one of the worst times to tweet, so it’s important to isolate each figure separately.

I was also surprised by the figure of x12 on a request for followers to RT a message. I didn’t think it’d be that high.

Unsurprisingly tweets with 100 chars or less have a +17% engagement, proving once again that less is more.

  1. I’m not sure how I feel about Brands / Business asking for RT’s / Retweets, chances are I’m less likely to engage with them if they ask for them. Maybe that’s just me being a snob of sorts.

    But it smacks of desperation.

    • I’d tend to agree alright, hence why I found it surprising but then I look at various media outlets / smaller brands asking for ‘RT to enter’ in competition mechanics and figure this might be the reference they’re getting their stats from?
